Run to do good in Hammersmith and Fulham


Hammersmith

GoodGym Hammersmith and Fulham will help you get fit and do good at the same time. Join us every Tuesday at the Hammersmith Fitness and Squash Center for a run and physical task helping communities in Hammersmith and Fulham. We meet at 6.45pm and start running at 7pm. We work hard on a physical task for 30 to 45 minutes, then we all run back together to the start venue by 8.30pm. There will be some drills and exercises to make sure you get a good work out. The sessions are run by running coach Anna Mercer.You'll help your local community, meet some great people and get a great workout too.

GoodGym helps you get fit by doing good. Join a group run, or run missions to help older people. We can also pair you up with an older person in your area that is isolated, immobile or feeling lonely and would benefit from a weekly social visit. Meet lots of different people and get fit at the same time. GoodGym is fast, fun friendly volunteering that will get you fit.

The session will be under 90 minutes and may be indoors or outdoors so make sure to dress appropriately.

There is space to change, leave bags, and use toilet facilities.|| We're not planning to do anything too dangerous, but GoodGym takes no responsibility for your safety during group runs, you participate at your own risk. Participants accept full responsibility for items stored at the Hammersmith Fitness and Squash Center.

All abilities are welcome, though you should be able to run for 10 minutes without stopping as some tasks are further away.
