Event Description

After the success of our first event at J.R.Brewer, our Introduction to Bookbinding with Joe Dixon is back!

Students will learn how to fold, sew, trim, glue and case in their own hand bound book using a range of environmentally sympathetic materials.

Recycled and handmade papers will be used alongside lined Indian fabrics with a wide choice of hand-block prints and plain natural colours . Students will leave with their own personally bound hard back notebook.

All materials are supplied.

Probably the best experience on wonderush. The host and tutor were amazing. Every step was well explained and even kids managed to produce a beautiful notebook from a scratch.

Fantastic class! Joe explained everything perfectly and everyone produced a lovely little notebook. Debbie's hand printed papers made for unique covers for everyone. Can't recommend it highly enough.
